Welcome to Precious Moments Montessori and Daycare
Our childcare center daycare is licensed with the state of Iowa. We accept ages 18 months and up. We have nurtured and fostered hundreds of young minds, preparing them for Kindergarten and Elementary school by our unique hybrid approach. We offer the independence of a Montessori with the structure of a pre-school and the hours of a daycare. Our staff are highly trained, loving educators and caregivers. Our team of experienced educators consists of a senior pre k teacher that has been at our facility for over 30 years. We also feature another lead teacher that has been at our preschool for 15 years. This rare daycare phenomenon allows us to give unparalleled education and childcare. We carefully select and train our educators to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and care.
At our preschool daycare we understand that each child is unique, and their learning environment should reflect that. We are the only preschool daycare to offer show choir in the state of Iowa. We also have extras to foster creativity like garden club included in your tuition. Our approach allows for children of all backgrounds to learn and grow. The curriculum is focused on readying the students for Kindergarten and primary school.
We believe in the power of independent and structured learning environments. Our schedule helps students learn routine. Hours of care are from: 7:00-5:30 Monday through Friday. Learning time is 8:30-11, Lunch is 11-12 and nap time follows with more learning from 2-4pm. The rest of the day is spent outside or inside with learning and team building exercises.
